March Update

Greetings in Jesus name. Peace and grace be multiplied unto you.

My wife falls sick repeatedly and three times she was admitted in the hospital. This week again she fell sick and for 4 days she was in I.C.U. Now she is shifted to hospital room. She may be discharged after two days.

The children are on their final exam and most of the children will leave home for 4 week leave from 18 of this month.

I am visiting tribal area on 14 and 15, as our old child Mariammal is getting married.

Ministry is going on well and we gain more souls for Christ.

The monsoon failed and we get water supply once in 12 days for 6 hours. Ground water level has gone down, and all reservoirs are below the minimum level, and power cut is 12 hours per day. Building work is not started for want of power and water. You know we build buildings by cement, bricks, stones.

Pray for all these. Many children’s support has been stopped . Now a days how to run children’s home is a question.

February Report

“Though I walk thru the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil for thou art with me”

Greetings in Jesus name. Peace and grace be multiplied unto you.

Last month I went to Kerala state, to one of our churches to conduct a marriage, but on getting into the boundary I was told the following two days all the political parties are on strike, and no movement of any vehicle and hence, after two hours the previous day I landed, I returned home and I could not conduct the service and I asked the pastors there to do it on my behalf. The mother of evangelist John Thamby, and mother of Pastor Nelson passed away.

Government rules and regulations on children’s home are getting more rigid.

Last week preaching was on the subject, how not to die: 1) Do not postpone repentance. 2) Do not have bitterness in your heart over others. 3) Do not die without making a proper will on your property to your children. 4) Do not have the fear of death in your heart. 5) Do not comment adversely on anybody’s sudden death or children’s death. There are lot of biblical passages on these subjects which will encourage us to face death.

February Update

Greetings in Jesus name. Peace and grace be multiplied unto you.

Praise God there were 6 baptisms in January and Pattumullay church celebrated its fifth anniversary. I was in Kerala for 3 days for these functions. I hope you received some pictures. We had one wedding also. On Feb 20 there is a marriage in Pambanaar church and I am going to conduct the wedding praise God.

 Drought everywhere in our area and we get water supply once in 15 days. Days are becoming harder and harder nowadays.

I preached on churches on the heading gospel. In Anglo Saxon the definition is story of the Lord and in Greek gospel. That is good news. It blesses us and saves us. The good news is Jesus bore all our sins on the cross and Jesus died for us on the cross. The blessings are from the seven words of the cross. Good news: 1. Good news of forgiveness. 2. Good news of assurance. 3. For the family. 4. Companionship. 5. Message of satisfaction by living water. 6. Finished work. 7. Message of safety. 

Please pray for the childrens’ home. We applied for registration two years back, but still pending.

New Year Update

Greetings in Jesus name. Peace and grace be multiplied unto you. God is so merciful and we have stepped into the year 2013.

The promise is “the Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty , he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy, he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing” Zeph 3: 17

There were two baptisms in December last. They are brothers, sons of one of our pastors, Paul. This month I am leaving for Kerala on 25, 26, 27. The fifth church anniversary is on January 26, for Pattumullay church and praising worship service at the church at 11.00 am. Before that there will be baptism for 8 or 10. Please pray. On January 27 I will be joining Sunday service at Pambanaar church at 10.00 am. Please pray.

The poor, the poor widows and our home children who received new dresses are extremely happy and the blessing from above to you who help financially Peace Mission to do this job, praise God.

 Many childrens’ sponsors have dropped supporting , kindly uplift renewing your support. Lord says ”call unto me and I will answer thee, and shew the great and mighty things, which thou knowest not” , Jer 33:3 “Behold, I will bring it health and cure, and I will cure them, and abundance of peace and truth.” Jer:33:6

 The building work will be started in next financial year. God be with you.

Christmas Update

Greetings in Jesus name. Peace and grace be multiplied unto you. Praise God, the home children. Poor and poor widows got new dresses for Christmas.

Nursing student Babitha is completing her course. So also, Preetha will be completing her B.SC. computer course in April 2013 and Dhivya her B.ED. course . In2013. Your prayers and supports are great. Jesus said whatever you do to one of these small children, you have done it for me. Thereby you are inheriting eternal life. The money you are giving meets the needs of many needy. We are giving education to many, and through them parents or relations come to Christ, they pray for you every day.

 We bought for the children and the poor 40 sarees, 20 sudithars, 10 frocks, 6 shorts and shirts, 3 full pants, one dhoti, and 3 shirts. And  44 pieces of small silver utensils praise God.

 Next month 1 am visiting Kerala and there will be 4 baptisms. Lot of virus fever around here and some death also.

 We, home children, all pastors, and all church members and all my family, extend their warm greetings and love to you.

 We grieve much over the incident of school children killed by gun shot by a youth aged 20. We pray for the parents to have comfort from Jesus.

Church Updates

Greetings in Jesus name. Peace and grace be multiplied unto you.

At last we had some rains and cultivation started . After the rains, because of stagnant water here and there, lot of mosquito problems and malaria, typhoid, dengu and spurious fever have started in the district, already 76 deaths because of this and mainly children.

 On 19^th if God is willing I am going to Chennai, to buy new dresses for children and for the poor and poor widows.

Pastor Edwin James gave some problems , as he wants to keep the Pattumullay church of his own, gaining strength from members to support him, so that he can hold the church of his own. He is advised to preach only the gospel , to gain souls for Christ and not for him. He is asked to quit the church and to work among people and not in our churches.

 We pray for you everyday children, staff and pastors extend their love to you. God be with you.
