John Haines Passed Away

Greetings in Jesus name. Peace and grace be multiplied unto you. It is sad news that Brother John Haines passed away last month. All church members, pastors, and all children grieve over the news. We pray for Sister Barbara and daughter Madaline to have the spiritual strength to bear this. My family has no words to express the sorrows and their grief is more. The team from the States is expected in a week from the time I write (October 1) and by the time this letter reaches you they would have returned back home. Children are doing good and busy in studying. Due to continuous rainfall the church roof work could not be completed. Even in my place it is still raining. We once again thank all who have generously given and this has helped to a great extent to meet various expenses. The nursing students' second year annual fee is given along with one year mess fee. Also, two of the college students who have completed the college studies are going for B.E.D. courses. The auditor fee for the last year also, amounting to $1,550, is to be paid. Praise God that we are able to meet all these high expenses. Thank you all once again for your burden and concern over us. Jesus said that whatever you do to any of these small children you have done it to me. Thank you for your prayers and support. With love and prayers, Pastor Roy

Thanks

Greetings in Jesus’ Name. Peace and grace be multiplied unto you. Thank you all for the love you have extended to me during my visit to you. Jesus said, “Whoever gives one of these little ones only a cup of cold water in the name of a disciple, assuredly I say to you he shall by no means lose his reward.” (Matt. 10:42)

My special thanks to pastors and elders and congregation of Dove Church, Wilmington; Kirk of Dunedin in Florida; F.C.C. Springfield; The Bridge Church; Grace Christian Centre of Austin, Texas; The New Hope; The Open Heaven Ministries; The Embrace Ministries.

Also thanks for the garden party arranged by Janet Bland, the two Kiwanis Clubs and the BCN and get-together at the coffee house in Springfield by Allison, the Sell group in Dawn & McNeil. For each and every one I have met including sponsors and supporters, my thanks to Rick and Kim, John and Barbara Haines, Brent Erseman, and Pastor Jerry Rittens’ daughter and son-in-law who gave accommodation and food and all the needs and care during my stay. And also Windy Nelson, Eric and elders in Texas Grace Christian Centre. You were all, whom I met, wonderful, lovable, and I thank God for the burden and interest each one took for Peace Mission.

Peace Mission pastors, staff, and home children greet you and extend their love and gratitude.

Thank you for the prayers. God bless you.
