The Tenth Church in the Mountains

Greetings in Jesus name. Peace and grace be multiplied unto you. Praise God we opened our tenth church in the mountains on 23 April and all the local and town government leaders were invited. Nearly ten government staff attended and also the local people were invited and nearly 200 people attended. I have planned to open a free sewing class for this church also and it will be started by the end of this May. Please pray as we have to buy a few sewing machines and employ a paid tutor. It is paining news to hear that brother David of Austin from Texas passed away. He used to receive me when I visited Texas and I used to stay with him. He was a pillar for the Grace Christian Centre Church. It will be good if you send a note to my e-mail just to have your e-mail ID so that I can e-mail you the news bulletin monthly and thereby save money in mailing. Already I owe money to the bank. Please pray for the deficit to be covered shortly. This you can find in the financial statement. The school opens in June and three children go for college studies and to get admission we have to pay high donations. Please pray for the needs to be met. Thank you for your prayers and support. VISITING WITH HINDUS AND MUSLIMS

ABOUT THE CHURCH PICTURED IN THE LAST POST Greetings in Jesus' name. Peace and grace be multiplied unto you. Praise God we have completed constructing a church called No. 2 Second Coming Church, sponsored by Garry and Gerry Spears. They met the whole cost. We had a feast after that and nearly 500 attended. The chief guests were two local government officers, Hindus, and they were at the service and opened the free sewing class here. We bought two machines here and gave two more to the first Second Coming Church members who had the training there. The Hindu leader, after hearing the message, said that he was fully so far engaged in political work, but he said now he sees we get peace and happiness when attending church. NEW CHURCH We are starting the next church building in another jungle area, and we have made the road to reach the site and cleared some big trees to build the church. The foundation work is started. Here the cost will be high as it will absorb more money to transport material. There are 1,500 families and our aim is to reach them for Christ. VISITING THE MUSLIMS I visited the Muslim area where we have the first Second Coming Church, on request by two Muslim girls. It was a surprise, when I prayed in their houses the adjoining house people rushed in for prayers and praise God I visited 8 houses, both rich and poor. Praise God one family wanted the Holy Bible and I have given them. They regularly attend the church services. One house is very badly broken and leaking and I feel we can repair the house with a cost of $700.00. One man who lost his leg in an accident is jobless and has a handicapped child. This man also I wish to help financially. I expect helping hands for these causes, above the need of the new church. The Muslim people had an open air meeting and I was asked to preside and speak for the construction of a building for the handicapped. They were highly pleased when I presided and talked to them. There was a good gathering with Muslim top people, both men and women. In the morning I walked through the streets of the Muslim people while giving door to door evangelism. I heard they never allow this, but it was Jesus walked with me and His glory covered me. God is great and I am humble before God for using me for his cause. Hallelujah. Amen. ~ Pastor Roy Jacob
